What is Business Analysis?

Business Analysis is a process where you find out your business's strong point and weak point. This further leads to eliminating weakness by gathering the requirements and needs of a business and bringing the relative change to the company or to the project.

RBC is the largest bank and as a result of this, it earns more revenue. On the contrary, banks balance sheet is still empty due to the home mortgage and other loans. So this is the business analysis of RBC, where getting mortgage money back as soon as possible is a problem and increasing revenue could be an opportunity or a goal for RBC.

Who is a Business Analyst?

Any person who is innovative, collaborative, self-driven and can think out of the box to find the solution to the business problem. The main duties of a BA are to gather the requirements from the stakeholders, analyze their problems and propose solutions or strategies for their issues. Most of the time BA has to perform more duties than described in job description which stated as "Other duties assigned".

BA at RBC must have soft interpersonal skills, should be team player and should be able to think out of the box.
