Understanding the work
Work means the system we develop for the business owner to run their business. This system includes every tangible and intangible thing that is used to develop the good, service or information for the owner. For example human task, software system and even the photocopiers.
However, the product you intend to build must improve the owner’s work because it will do some part of work for the owner (in some cases all the work). This could be any kind of work depending on the business of the owner.

Responsibilities of Business Analysts
Talking to people a prime responsibilities as if business analysts will not communicate with all team members, they will get all time reports regularly or they will not be aware that what is happening in the organisation.
Understanding what they say and what they don't say because it is very important to be respectful and cooperative with the team.
Determine what they need and what they don't need because like completing the requirements is one of the thing to make the projects and missions successful.
Learning from people who do the work makes any kind of work or project a lot easier because we can already learn in things earlier which we are going to learn in future that saves time and money both.

Observe and Learn the work because learning and observing is the one thing which continues in the whole life of business analyst
Interpreting the work refers to getting the work done with quality and making sure that each and everything is going correctly and in sequence.
Identifying better ways to do the work makes the work more efficient and reduces or save the time required to do that particular work which even makes the quality better.
Documenting all the results refers to keeping the record of all work done in the organisation and achievements of all workers as well.
The Brown Cow model provides a tool for taking four important systems viewpoints in parallel. The viewpoints are
ReplyDeletea. Now (as is)
b. Future (to be)
c. How (Solutions)
d. What (essence)
How Now
It is bottom left-hand Quadrant of model and focus on current organisation of library. It shows the employees, their jobs titles and who reports to whom.
What Now
It is top left-hand quadrant of model and focus on what must be done regardless of how it is designed or implemented.
What Future
It is top right-hand quadrant of model and focus on any opportunities for innovation that would benefit the business.
How Future
It is bottom right-hand quadrant of model and focus on how we are going to solve the problem, implement the new system, make the change.
The non-procedural nature of the model means that the analyst can choose to take the most relevant viewpoints in whatever order suits the situation.
